Kendal in General

Kendal is probably the biggest market town in the south lake district. It has alot of shops and alot to see and do. There is two castle, museums, factory outlets, shops, hotels, and historic buildings. Kendal is also the home of the famous Kendal Mint Cake which you have to try when you visit. Kendal also takes place in cumbria in bloom with some lovely collections of flowers, i think it was 2007 it won. Nestled in the valley of the river Kent is the market town of Kendal. Famous for its mint cake and shoes (K shoes) Kendal has a lot to offer the visitor. Kendal is found a few miles away from the M6 on the edge of the Lake District and the Yorkshire dales. Due to its location Kendal is used by many as a base for exploring and walking in these areas it does however have a lot to offer the visitor.
