Well, I must be a true leightoner as I have lived here my whole life, it may not be the best place in the world to live but over the last couple of years it has been getting better. Leighton Buzzard is a funny little town in between Luton and Milton Keynes about 30 miles each way. There are many different types of families which live here, there are the millionaires and very rich people who live on one side of the town, another side where all the run down houses and old flats are etc, but the rest of it is just normal really, just your typical everyday family.

We do have a high street not that there's a lot there, the main shops are probably, Woolworths, Boots, WH Smiths with many other shops around such as Peacocks, Blockbusters, Superdrug and many more little shops. I don't quite know why but there seems to be a bank after every 100 meters or so. Not like many people are going to spend money in Leighton.

The Nightlife though is good for a little town such a Leighton with 3 nightclubs, 4 major bars and over 20 pubs. Sometimes the nightlife can be a bit too much and you may often see a fight or two but where don't you. The nightclubs are called Elements, Shades and O’Neil’s. Shades and O'Neils are over 18's where Elements is for over 21's. The Bars are Renoir’s, The Litten Tree, The Waterborne and Elements.

Inside the town we have a few gyms and fitness places such as Tiddenfoot, in which there is a gym, 2 x swimming pools, cafe and sports hall, which is also used by one of the 2 high schools, we have here. These are Cedars and Vandyke, they are kind of rival schools from different sides of the town but of course they are.

Leighton Buzzard has a few little villages around us such as Wing, Tring, Toddington, Stanbridge, Tilsworth, Heath and Reach, Hockliffe and a few others.

If you were ever thinking of coming to Leighton I must ask why? there isn't really much here, I suppose
the one night out in Leighton would be ok but for anything else I wouldn't bother. Unless you were visiting a relative or something.

Sounds like a decent little place, and a very good op to go with it :)

Yes well Leighton Buzzard is often called Leighton Linslade due to the fact that it is literally the same place because there is no border line!

I went to Linslade in october to the Wyvern Shipping Co, with my company Blakes Boats. Is Leighton Buzzard near there, I'm sure we went for a chinese one night?
