I have had the pleasure of visiting the town of Lichfield several times, most recently last Tuesday. Lichfield is above all a Cathedral city and has the ambience that one might expect in such a place though that isn't to say it is entirely traditional. What I really like is that it is compact so there isn't a lot of walking and ...  Read the complete review

It is a city but very small for one but I think if you ever get to visit you will find it as ...  Read the complete review

Lichfield City , that is the legend on the train station and a fact upon which Lichfield prides itself, the fact that it has city status. However, it must be one of the smallest places that has got this dubious honour, ( I know there are probably a few thousand more factually accurate folk out there rushing to their keyboards to put me right & ...  Read the complete review

If you're visiting the Midlands take the time to have a look at Lichfield. It has so much to offer and is well worth a visit. Lichfield is a relatively small, but historical city with a beautiful cathedral and some magnificent architecture. It is situated north west of Birmingham on the road between Walsall and Burton upon Trent. ...  Read the complete review
