Advantages: close to the station
Disadvantages: is on three floors, not good if you plan on getting REALLY drunk.
Liverpool is well known to be a city of excellence when it comes to music. There are famous bands that come from the city (Beatles in the 60s and 70s, Frankie Goes to Hollywood in the 80s and Space in the 90s) and big name venues like Cream. The L2 is the replacement for the Lomax and is brilliant. It is close to the rail station and is host to a variety of big name acts as well as up-and-coming bands. It is cheaper than the equilivant in Manchester and also has an area to put bags and coats so you dont have to worry about theft. There are several bars and lots of variety when it comes to drinks. There is a seperate bar/disco area, the venue is nicely furnished and the sound equipment used is good quality
