Advantages: nice area

Disadvantages: british weather

Llandudno is a town / holiday resort on the North Wales coast . It is relatively easy to get to via the a55 or down the old coast road , it also has a railway station which is served by arriva trains wales holyhead (anglesey) to cardiff service .
Some of the main attractions are - the pier , the great orme , the promenade and the ski centre . An interesting thing many people dont know is that Llandudno has two coasts therefore two beaches . There is the main one with the long array of hotels , the pier and the famous punch and judy show but if you head past the Bengal Dynasty (indian restaurant) and head straight down that road you will find the 'west shore ' which is a much quieter beach , whith excellent views across the afon conwy estuary .
There are two golf courses in the town - maesddu golf club and The North Wales golf centre , both welcome visitors and are of good quality .
There was recently a new retail park opened in the town ('parc llandudno') it has shops such as Debenhams , River Island , Next , Topshop and more .
I would reccomend Llandudno forr a weekend break.

Summary: worth a visit
