Advantages: Great Punch and Judy show.

Disadvantages: Prone to rain.

Llandudno is one of the places I managed to enjoy whilst visiting my girlfriend recently in North Wales. Situated by the sea, Llandudno is a delightful coastal town with a number of great attractions that would keep any visitor occupied for days.

We decided to take a tram ride up the Great Orne which was a little costly but was worth it as the walk to some of the main attractions was very steep. Half way up, you will find an ancient Copper mine which has been uncovered and preserved allowing us to see how our ancestors mined for copper. This was an interesting attraction which takes around and hour to view and is relatively worthwhile for the cost.

A further tram ride and you will reach the summit of the great Orne which provides some stunning views as well as access to the longest cable cars in Britain. As well as this there's even some crazy golf thrown in for good measure.

Back down in the town, there are all of the usual high street shops present as well as some museums that we did not have time to look around.

One thing I would recommend is the punch and judy show on the promenade. It's fun, witty and very un-politically correct. A definite must see. It had me in stitches!

Summary: A great day out for all the family.
