Loughborough, a nice town (Loughborough in general)
Member Name: bigpeeg
Advantages: Good nightlife Disadvantages: Shops are a bit dull I have lived near to Loughborough for the whole of my life and also went to school there. It is a fairly average town, however does have an excellent university. The shops in Loughborough are not exactly awe inspiring but it does have some big chain stores like Primark and TK Maxx, those two should give you an idea that it isn't exactly high end retailing. It is quite annoying that the train station is right on the outskirts of the town and is probably a 15 minute or so walk to the middle of the town, however as the town is a bit of a nodal centre within the midlands the links to the big cities are not too bad. There are a number of good restaurants in Loughborough, for example the excellent 'Noodle Bar' which due to its cheap nature certainly appeals the the students but it is a nice place to eat. Overall its a pretty good town and housing prices are about average too. Summary: For a town of its size it is about average i feel |
