Advantages: Everything in one place!

Disadvantages: Nought unless your a Sunderland fan!

Well how can I resit writing an opion on good old geordie land!

I've always known Newcastle from being a wee baine and living in Durham. But since coming to University in Newcastle I'm starting to relise what I've bin missing out on all these years.

The Geordies are a great set of people and as long as ya dinit try t be all "la di da" with them their great. Well better not mention Sunderland if your anywhere near a true Geordie as it really is a true saying that the Geordies hate the mackums and the Mackums hate the Geordies especially when it comes to football.

Well being in the centre of toon is great the shops are wicked. It's like whatever ya want ya can get! From flowers to Motor Bikes! It's great! We have excellent shops such as Fenicks, Bainbridges, Marks and Spencer, BHS, Argos, Boots, Safeway, Etam and Woolworths to name just a few of them.

Eldon Square is I believe the biggest inner city shopping center in Britain.

There are plenty of places to eat no matter what your taste in food is, from Chinese in China Town to good old fashioned Mc'Ds.

And then there's the good old metro system, wisking you wherever ya fancy ganin t. From being lazy and gettin it across town or popping to the seaside or airport.

Newcastle also has a selection of museums such as Hancock and the Discovery. There's also our Millenium Project The Life Centre, Interactive World.

Also whilst here you have to take a walk down the the Queyside to see our great bridges built over a large number of years our most recent being the Millenium Eye, a footbridge across the Tyne to Gateshead which is just amazing to see and really fits in well with the old bridges.

Then you have access to a great train station with regular train to London Kingscross and Edinburgh (well this is when the train servivce as a whole across the county isn't in disaster!)

All in all Newcas
tle is great to live and work in!

So gan doon the toon and get ya sel a pint of Newkee Brown down ya!
