Advantages: Gorgeous Beach, plenty to do, lovely places to stay
Disadvantages: expensive maybe-cant think of anything else.
I went here with college and wasnt looking forward to it that much but what a great place it is and I cant wait to go back!!
Our hotel was right on the edge of a cliff and overlooked the beach amazing views! The beach was gorgeous like they have abroad blue sea and white sand what more could you ask for?
The weather was also great we had a bit if rain but not much the rest of the time was hot hot hot I actually forgot I was in England (Especially in April)
We stayed at the Great Western hotel which was lovely. We got our breakfast, dinner and tea here. The food was ok breakfast was best as lots to choose from but dinner I found not much choice(But Im VERY fussy)
The rooms were great very nice and clean and had what you need in a room. Some of us had amazing views of the beach! The hotel also has a bar and swimming pool! Definetly recommend staying here!
Across from our hotel was some shops and arcades and a lovely Mexican restaurant. The food in there was lovely and the staff are friendly and it has a great atmosphere.
The town was great for shopping had alot of surfer shops and other unusual shops that had some great things.
The Eden Project is a must if you are in Cornwall as it is great! The view when driving in is magnificent!! There is alot to do within the project-there are the 2 domes to walk through with a lot of very interesting things you learn about, its not very boring as they have alot of stuff set up on fun, interesting ways so makes the fun part fun! There is a huge food hall which was undergoing a refurb when I went. There is another building that has some more fun stuff about how things work in the plant world with some experiments. This building is used for conferences, events and talks to groups. i.e. schools
Crealys adventure park wasnnt so greea as its more for youngsters but it wasnnt awful for us. They have a few small rides its more like a park then a theme park. They also have animals and lot of places to eat.
There are many other attractions in cornwall:
Cyder farm, museums, Dairyland Farm,Wildlife Zoo, Seal Sanctuary and Aquarium plus much more for all the family.
There are lots of places to stay-hotels and bed and breakfasts and guest houses-you can even camp!!
I definetly reccomend going here especially if you want to stay in England but want a nice beach, atmosphere, things to do and see and nice surroundings!
Summary: Love this place for holidays feeels like abroad beach is gorge!
