Advantages: Great sand, cornwalls best surf!

Disadvantages: bit out of the way

Polzeath is a large beach situated north of Wadebridge, North Cornwall. Its flat sandy beach is complemented by a small range of shops and wonderful surf.

There are a number of surf schools based in the town and offer very reasonable training, for little money. In fact the two princes, Harry and whatshisname have been surfing there, and so have the sheffield wednesday team a few years ago as well.

this is genuinely one of cornwall's hidden gems, and if you are in the area and want a great cheap/free day out, then hit the polzeath beach!

It has a blue flag too, and is the cleanest beach I have been on in the UK.
