Market day in Petersfield is on a Friday but there are not many stalls at all so probably only worth a visit if you are in the area anyway. Petersfield is in Hampshire it is quite an old town it has quite a little shopping precinct, it always seems to be busy but I think this is down to it being a small shopping area. There is an area in the town called Folly market where there is a mixture of small shops, there is a lovely sandwich shop in there where the food is very yummy and reasonably priced, definitely go there for food if you're going to Petersfield.
