A Jolly old town!!! (Petersfield in general)

Petersfield is in Hampshire it is quite an old town it has quite a little shopping precinct, it always seems to be busy but I think this is down to it being a small shopping area. There is an area in the town called Folly market where there is a mixture of small shops, there is a lovely sandwich shop in there where the food is very yummy and reasonably priced, definitely go there for food if you're going to Petersfield.

Market day in Petersfield is on a Friday but there are not many stalls at all so probably only worth a visit if you are in the area anyway. There is a lovely lake that has a nice path going around it which takes about 20 minutes to take a slow stroll around it; next to the lake there is a small play area where they have climbing frames, a roundabout, slide and swings etc which is good fun for the young ones.

Petersfield seems to have quite a few pubs that get busy on a Friday and Saturday nights where drinks are reasonably priced. There is a train station in Petersfield so you have easy links to London or Portsmouth, there is a Tesco just of the town where you can do your shopping but it also has a Waitrose. Petersfield has a really good leisure centre called the Taro and it is reasonably priced to go swimming etc, Petersfield also has an outdoor pool which is often opened in the summer.

Summary: The lake is lovely definitely worth a visit
