Shopping to be done - close to Birmingham but not as busy (Redditch in general)

Advantages: Kingfisher is in doors, Clean, Lots of shops

Disadvantages: Car parking

Redditch is not my nearest town centre but I do pay a visit around once every two weeks. I enjoy a morning or afternoon spent shopping in The Kingfisher shopping centre. It is all indoors which is great for this time of year. It is no where near as busy as Birmingham and does have a large range of shops from Debenhams, music stores, games shops, card shops, shoes, clothing for children, women, men, plus size, sports, book stores, primark, photography, discount stores and more. Within the shopping centre they also have a cinema and several places to enjoy a coffee or somewhere to sit and have a bite to eat. Outside the shopping mall there are many pubs to get a pub lunch from and they always have cheap deals on, the most recent I took advantage of was 2 meals for £6.50. They also have the Palace Theatre which I am yet to visit but have booked seats for my parents next year for a 60's music night. I have friends and family who live close to the town centre and further towards Solihull. Town always look clean. The only downside for me is the Kingfisher car park in which the spaces are a bit tight for those with larger cars. It is worth a visit for anyone who lives nearby and wants to avoid the crowds in Birmingham
