Well as a life long rugbian, I thought I'd write about my lovely hometown of Rugby, I hear people slate our town all the time, whether it be work colleagues or friends or even past reviews etc, but to be honest although there obviously are some bad points about Rugby, there are those in every town of the UK, we all have our bad areas, overall I ...  Read the complete review

I used to work in Rugby a few years ago, i have family and friends that also live in Rugby so the time ive spent there at work and with them and their views of the town are what im basing this review on. To be honest which is what these reviews are all about, i wouldnt recommend a visit, a home, a job, a shop, a sports facility anywhere in rugby! ...  Read the complete review

Well what can i say about Rugby. Not alot really, not much at all to be honest its small has no shop and then all the good ones you do get end up closing. Oh and the nightlife i wouldnt recommend it - unless you want to be mugged, stabbed or beaten. A bit harsh......no not really, knife crime is at an all ...  Read the complete review

I moved to Rugby around 5 years ago, and what can I say... dull! There is very little to do in Rugby, it has a overpriced cinema and bowling alley out of the town and not on any pubic transport routes! There are 2 soft play zones, 1 at the sports centre that is filthy and you risk your child coming out with all sorts of bugs ...  Read the complete review

Well what can i say about my sunny hometown of Rugby. Not alot really, well what we are famous for is Mr William Webb Ellis who invented the game of rugby that day in 1823,(oh and we have just been told that he is not an historical figure, rugby observer sept 2008), then of course there is Rugby school and of course there is the ...  Read the complete review

WARNING: Reading this will mean entering the twilight zone…are you ready? The girl next to me at the bus stop stared at me as if I was an alien from another planet. Maybe she didn’t realise just how close to the truth that was. I’m a country girl now living in the town (good old Rugby) and I would have to class Kilsby, ...  Read the complete review

Take what I say with a pinch of salt - I'm a local and very biased. But Rugby is an excellent place to live. Maybe not for all your life. Where is? But if a snow-drift, big-end disaster or work contract causes you to have to spend a night or so here, here are my pointers: It's a town of about 70,000 souls. I confess - ...  Read the complete review

The town of Rugby in Warwickshire is steeped in history, from William Webb Ellis, the so-called founder of the game of rugby, to Rugby School, to the ancient train station. Rugby School dominates a large part of the town centre with old buildings and students wandering around in posh clothes. The town centre is made up of one main ...  Read the complete review
