I have just returned from a weeks holiday in the Isle of Wight. As usual I stayed at a holiday camp with my in-laws. Except this was a totally new experience, Savoy holiday villages. We have stayed at Warner,Haven and Pontins (not all on the Isle of Wight). I must say that the accomodation was excellent. My oldest daughter is in a wheelchair and has been since she was 2. This was the most accessible "chalet" we have ever had. There was room to move with her wheelchair and the shower room actually catered for a wheelchair. The camp was relatively flat unlike the Warner camp we once stayed at on the island which was situated on a hill! So if anybody is looking for a holiday at a holiday camp, I recommend this one. I know that these holidays are usually more expensive than foreign ones, but the way things are going there may not be much of the Isle of Wight left soon due to the erosion, then imagine how sorry you would be when you haven't seen the needles!
Savoy Holiday Village is set in twenty acres in the Isle Wight - a designated area of outstanding beauty - under a mile from Yarmouth.
