A good family day out if you are in Herefordshire is a trip to Shortwood Farm. Really this is one for the kids but I'm 27 and I enjoy myself as well so it really is worth doing. Shortwood is a Working Organic Dairy Farm situated near Pencombe in the heart of the Hererfordshire countryside, about 15 minutes from Hereford. It'll cost you around £6 per adult and £4 for kids. The price is well worth it for the enjoyment and also the educational factor for the children (and adults!).
