Advantages: The size

Disadvantages: Too many people

After living in London for three years during university, I think that it is possible that even I havent experienced all that this wonderful city has to offer. The main reason being, it is just so big, and with a population of over 7 million, it is one of the biggest cities in the world. There is so much to do in this city, being home to a number of tourist attractions. If you were to walk around London, you will often see tourists, namely German and American, (or is that just a stereotypical vision of a London tourist), with their sunglasses, backpacks and cameras out.

One of the first things that I did when I was there, was visit Buckingham Palace, one of the worlds most famous buildings, home to the Queen of England. Unfortunately, the London Eye was constructed when I was there, but I have been back since, and have to say, it is brilliant. When you are on it, you can see for miles around, but that is a review on its own. As far as I am concerned, London is one of the best places to live, and I would move there in an instant if I could.

However, there are some major downsides to this wonderful city. Namely crime. London has one of the the highest crime rates in the country. But not to worry, as it also has one of the best police forces in the country. I dare anyone to say that London isn't an amazing place to be in. The atmosphere is good electric and buzzing, so many people filling the streets, and living there, you are almost guarenteed to bump into someone that you know. In addition to this, the city is also home to one of the worlds most famous bridges. Ok, not as big as others, but the Tower of London is an amazing site, and when you stand on it, and look downwards on the river Thames, you cant help but smile.

There are a number of districts in London, which makes it a popular place to live, however when talking about the City of London, the house prices can be a bit expensive, which is one of the reason people avoid moving there.

I would live there if I could, and I definitely recommend you all to visit it, it is truly an experience you wont forget. Whether it is a trip to the West End to see a musical, or if the Red Light District of Soho is your thing, you wont be disappointed, there really is something for everyone in this city. Its gets my approval 100%.

Thanks for reading.

Summary: A brilliant city, and one to be proud of
