I believe people visit Southport for many reasons. However, I think the main reason is Southport offers something that not many other towns can. One of these factors which make Southport unique is its location. Southport is located in the heart of the North-West of England, it is surrounded by many large cities whose inhabitants visit Southport as it is a pleasant place and close to home. Southport also has many other attractions around it, such as Liverpool and Blackpool. This means holidaymakers could be staying somewhere close to Southport and just be visiting.
