Advantages: Good links to many attractions

Disadvantages: Muddy beaches, dirty tourists, Traffic congestion in summer

I have lived around and in Weston for the past 20 odd years and I still do not understand why people want to come here on holiday. I mean within an hour or less travel you can get golden beaches and blue sea. Weston on the other hand offers brown sea ( with lovely raw sewerage, used condoms etc.) and mud infested beaches. I suppose if you use it as a base for travel and you can get away from the town centre the maybe its not so bad. I really do get annoyed with all the tourists (we have other quite unsavory names for them) as they block all the roads and leave tons of rubbish on our streets. Weston is an old town dating back some few hundred years, but it is not the oldest settlement around. The voctorians thought Weston had special healing properties and made it a sort of Spa town. Well I think the lead makeup got to them. If you want to visit a nice resort town try other places,but if you want a commuter town or a base to visit from them your welcome to all the bad stuff as well.
