I have only been using this for a few weeks now but I can definitely say my skin has improved its tone and I feel healthier and more active. I have read the comment about the research and I must agree completely. This is good stuff, but its hard to explain how it works in this manner. The big drawback I have had is it makes me burp a lot and you get a funny taste in your mouth! Other than that I cant really think of any reason not to take it - and even the burps aren't as bad as when I've tried garlic tablets! Great stuff. I'd recommend this to everyone.
This is pretty good product - although why it is in the fatloss sections escapes me. Basically, this is concentrated fish oils in an easy to take tablet form. This provides a great way for you to take on board the essential fatty acids normally found in fish (such as herring, salmon, mackerel etc) without having to actually eat the horrible stuff. (yes I do hate eating fish!) In addition to that, by taking it this way you can avoid any extra cholesterol and accuratly control the amount of fat in your daily intake. EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) is one of the two most important "Omega-3 Fatty Acids" (the other one is docosahexaenoic acid or DHA) and it is shown to help reduce mortality rates from cardiac and circulatory diseases. This means it also has the added advantage of helping limit the effects of sore joints and impaired mobility (similar to Non-steroidal anti inflamatories such as Ibuprofen) and clinical studies have shown it can help reduce bllod pressure and cholesterol levels. I must admit to not having had any of the major problems it "can" help (i.e. arthritis, high BP, high cholesterol etc) but as I detest fish I started taking this about 18 months ago. The effects are not immediate by any stretch of the imagination but over time (and combined with my normal exercise) I started to notice less aches and pains after I had been the gym and my skin "appeared" clearer. These are very hard things to quantify, but for me the use of EPA was a good thing. I think it is best to take a variety of fatty acid supplements depending on your diet - dont forget the alpha linolenic acid and gamma linolenic acid (GLA is in Evening Primrose Oil) and you are well on your way to good health.
