okay so this was an accessory that i purchase thinking it would save me alot of money in memory cards for my camera. Ive recently purchased an ipod classic(120gb) and thought there would be more than enough space for all my music, some films and also be able to use it as a back up device for photos whilst on the road, and having the latest ipod means its bound to be compatible right......WRONG.
Why apple have not made the NEWEST ipod compatible with old technology is beyond me,this really is an error on their part, and whats worse their staff are unsure as to which ipods it works with,i was assured by an apple store sales person that it would work, this is not the case,i just get a failed message on the screen of the ipod.
APPLE REALLY SHOULD HAVE MADE CLEAR IT DOES NOT WORK WITH CLASSIC IPOD.
I guess it would be a good accessory for someone with the right ipod tho...so i gave it my little sister who seems to have got some use out of it,i had a little play myself and its incredibly easy to use. i have a sony camera and it works really well. its simply a case of plug and play, the ipod automatically downloads the photos from the camera,or as many as the ipod will hold, without you having to do anything,i downloaded over 200 photos to her ipod in under 4 minutes so it works pretty quick to!
