Many people who own an iPod and use it while on the move will have been concerned at one time or another about how to keep it securely and comfortably about their person. This product was recommended to me for just this purpose, as I wanted to be able to listen to music while exercising.
The product is compatible with 20GB Apple iPod, and although it can be a tight squeeze inserting your device into the sleeves, once it is in you will feel confident that it is fixed firmly into position until the time you decide to remove it.
The iPod Carrying Case is fashioned high quality Schoeller woven nylon, which is designed to be durable and long lasting. With a retail price of around £25 you would indeed expect this slim case to be resilient. In this respect I have never had any issues with the case. I have used it extensively while on the move, and although I have found it is not ideal for exercise, I have tested it on several occasions in this context. The material is soft yet strong, and will not pull or sustain scratches easily. Because it is closely woven I think you would have to go to extreme lengths to create any holes in it, too. You can feel the quality as soon as you touch the fabric, and in this respect its construction is commendable.
On one side of the case is a steel spring clip for securing it to your person. I usually affix it to the waist of my jeans, although it is ideal for fastening it to a belt or pocket. The clip will grip even a fairly thin fabric, and once you have positioned it is unyielding. I have discovered that it is not ideal to attach it to any particularly delicate fabric, as when you remove the clip it has a tendency to 'cling on', which is, of course, what it is intended for.
This is a high quality product that you will get a lot of use out of. It may seem expensive for so modest-looking a product, but it is so durable and created from so high quality a material that it should be seen as an investment.
