From someone who never goes anywhere without her musical friend, sometimes headphones don't cut it and you'd rather give your ears a rest and just listen to your music in all its natural glory. Time for a dock station :) I had a little shop around online for one that would be compatible with my iPod. Eventually I settled for the apple universal dock which robbed me £35 from their online store.

The item arrived relatively quickly - so what exactly is in the box? Well the package includes the iPod Universal Dock itself, an apple remote control, an instructions manual and five adapters that ensure compatibility with various models - not bad :)

I cannot deny the dock and remote certainly makes an attractive addition to my bedroom with its stylish, minimalistic white finish. It's quite convenient too, acting as a home base for things such as charging, syncing, and more. I only own an iPod, but it's really handy for those of you that own various other i-products, be it iPhones or other versions of iPods, through the adapters included with the purchase you need only buy one station.

Once placed in the dock and connected to a television or stereo system you can use the handy little remote control to listen to music, flick through your photos - and all from the comfort of your bed :) Functions available with the Apple remote include play, pause, volume and backwards and forwards keys.

I'd recommend without hesitation to anyone owning one or more iPod/iPhones, its well worth the price and is compatible with most models.
