The Belkin Protective Overlays for the iPod Video is a useful tool for keeping your front screen from scratching up or even broken in some cases. The back is also kept safe from scratches as believe it or not, many times the back can end up being highly scratched as mine was previous to getting the protective overlay. I have broken this review down to pros and cons considering this simple device:
The protective overlay does exactly what it is called. It protects your iPod Video from scratches that often quite frequently if you bring your iPod Video everywhere you go. The protective overlay is very easy to put on, just a simple stick and can be taken off whenever. The nice thing about this protective overlay is that it does not add any extra weight to an already heavy iPod Video but still protects your iPod like other bigger, bulkier covers. It is also a cheaper alternative to the other covers. The protective overlay can also be bought for the Nano and other types of iPods I believe.
Although it is a great alternative for protection, it still is not as protective as other covers such as the pouches or leather ones. The sticker can also take a few times to put on before getting it perfectly centered.
If you are looking for an alternative to the bulkier cases, I highly suggest the Belkin Protection Overlay. You can get it for any type of iPods and it is a useful tool to have to keep your iPods save.
