I love the way this case has been designed to make using the iPod in situ as easy as possible. The port for your earphone jack is easily accessible and so is the charging port, you don't have to take your iPod out of the case to do anything apart from clean it. I always liked the way the earphone jack section in particular was designed because the cable or jack itself was never forced to bend even slightly as can happen with this style of case (as happens with my current case!!), it's the same with the charger and I was never anything but happy with the way I was so easily able to access my iPod while it was being stored in this case.
The circular cut out for the click wheel is perfectly shaped and the exact correct size, I found I was able to use the wheel without being encumbered by the case that makes my iPod look and feel quite a lot bulkier than it is. The screen is shown in full and the cut out for this has been lined with a very thin plastic that acts as a screen protector, I cut mine off after about a year because some sections of the plastic had turned opaque which made certain areas of the screen look blurred. My case didn't suffer for the lack of the screen protector once I'd snipped it off and after a few days I stopped noticing it had gone, the plastic would make a good addition for a child (or a clumsy person!!) to prevent damage to the screen but it didn't make any difference to me so I didn't miss it.
The case closes with a magnetic clasp that is hidden beneath the fabric but provides a secure closure in spite of this layer of material. I love the feel of this sort of closure on handbags and purses so spent a lot of time fiddling and opening and closing the case for no reason, I thought I'd end up weakening it but this never happened and right up until the day I stopped using the case it was a strong closure so I never had to worry about whether it was going to accidentally open while in my bag or pocket. I've always taken my iPod to the gym with me and recently have taken up jogging: my current iPod case also has a hidden magnetic closure but when I'm running it's continually flopping open with the jolting, this is annoying and quite often since starting my jogging routine I've wished I had my Case Logic case back.
