Along with my Creative Zen X-Fi, I also got a silicone skin. This was the option I went for as the cost was pretty low at £12.99 and it seemed like a simple solution.
Putting the X-Fi in the case is simple. The big opening in the front stretches and you slot the little MP3 player in. There are cutouts for all the controls and little metal circles that overlay the actual buttons on the player. It is quite a smooth silicone, so quite slippery.
The goods things about this case are the price and that it adds no bulk to the size (well very minimal). The bad points are many though. Firstly, it provides no screen protection... it would have only cost Creative a few pence to include a plastic film, but they chose not to. The square grid of buttons are pretty hard to push without the case, the silicone covering just makes this even harder. Plus there are no cutouts on indents for the main four control buttons.
So not brilliant. If you need a cheap case then get one, after all it does protect the player pretty well, plus buy a screen protector separately. However, there are better cases available.
