When my partner brought me an I phone, he told me that I must get a case for it as I do have a habit of dropping phones, which isn't a major problem when you only own cheap and cheerful phones, but dropping a phone as expensive and sensitive as an I Phone could have major implications on it.

My birthday was approaching so my sister brought me a Cygnett Jellybean I phone case. This case is quite expensive as I Phone cases go but I just loved the colour which is the only real reason I was attracted to the case. The stated colour was 'watermelon' which is quite a distinctive pinky colour and looked pretty cool.

The case generally seems to retail at around £17.00, but provided it protected my phone well, I wasn't too bothered by the price tag as it is worth if it saves me having to purchase a new phone at some point.

The cover went on the phone a little easier than I anticipated with its clip together design. The material is a rubber type design which is great as some plastic type materials make the phone easier to slip out of your hand whereas a case like this gives you good grip onto the phone and makes accidents less likely. The rubber casing is quite thick and sturdy and I feel confident that if I dropped the phone, the casing would be enough to minimise damage, it not stop any damage completely. The phone is definitely less scratched and marked than it would have been had I not got the case as I have a 7 year old son who loves to play the apps on my phone and being a young boy - he can be a little heavy handed when it comes to gadgets so this case provides the perfect protection against grubby, heavy handed children!

The case surrounds as much of the outer casing as is possible without hindering your access to the screen, buttons, camera etc and the case fits perfectly around the phone. The one I had came with a screen protector too so although the casing doesn't protect the screen, the screen protector does.

Overall, I have been really impressed with this I phone case and I would happily recommend it to all. It is easy to attach to the phone and the colour of the case looks really cool and funky. I would say this is more aimed at females than males due to the colour of the case, but I think they do them in other colours too including black which is a little more manly.

You can get some cheap and cheerful I phone cases off Ebay for a fraction of the cost of this one, but as said it was a present and I actually think you can justify the price due to it being a really good quality, substantial case. My sister had a leather case off Ebay for her I phone and the phone kept falling out as the case was too loose for the phone so I would rather pay a little extra and have something that works than pay cheap and get cheap quality.

I can't honestly think of one thing bad to say about this case so as you can probably guess by now, this comes with a high recommendation from me.
