      Very helpful

The CD is not dead, so protect your collection.

I have to say that I have never moved on from CD's, even with all the advantages of mp3 players etc. I think what it is is that CD's are tangible, they are right there in front of you to touch and hold. MP3 will never replace CD's for this very reason. When I am looking to buy an artists album I will always buy the CD version as opposed to the MP3 one.

The Hama CD Case is designed to hold upto 24 CD's, allowing me to take my collection with me when I go travelling, or just for storage and easy access. Available for around a fiver this case is very reasonably priced. The Hama CD Case is also available in lots of colours, ranging from the typical black case through to bright orange, red and blue. The transparent window to the front of the case really serves no purpose, other than to indicate whether or not you have any CD's in it currently.

CD cases are designed to keep your collection free from dust and dirt, protecting them whilst in transit without the need for storing each one in its individual case. It is therefore important that such a case can rpotect the CD's in a similar manner to the jewel cases they are bought in. The hard shell of the Hama CD Case is very sturdy and robust, offering excellent protection. Each sleeve that the CD's can be stored in allows you to access your collection easily due to the antistatic nature of them.

I keep my Hama CD Case in my car, as I find that I use CD's mainly in my car or on my laptop. The case does have a handy carrying strap, but I would personally just store it in a bag when on the move, as it is both compact and hard wearing. The case can be closed securely by being clipped shut. I have never found the case to open up accidently, and the quality design means this is unlikely to happen. I have no trouble opening and closing the case, but the lock is secure enough.

I usually store around a dozen CD's in the Hama CD Case, but obviously you could fit potentially 24 in there without damaging them. I am really struggling to find anything negative to say to balance this review out, but in fairness there isn't anything wrong with the case full-stop. With a depth of just 4.5cm the case is slimline and compact, though the tough nature of the case ensures your CD's will be protected from damage.

If you still have a CD collection then I totally recommend the Hama CD Case be considered. The bright colours available and cool design will really make your collection stand out.
