Long gone are the days of having games cartridges for your games console. In all honesty the reason I preferred cartridges to discs is that they were easier to maintain in my opinion. All discs need to be kept in tip-top condition and scratch free to ensure top performance at all times. The difference between a game disc slipping and a music cd slipping is huge. A cd just skips and continues playing, or can stick and the track can be changed. With a games disc, however, it can completely crash the game or freeze the screen. This is the reason why you must ensure your discs are protected at all times.
When taking games round to a friends house I use the Thrustmaster games holder. I bought mine about 3 weeks ago on a popular auction site for less than £6 and they are the ideal product for keeping your discs neatly in order. I no longer use the cases that the discs come in, rather I use the Thrustmaster game holder and I can keep all my discs together this way without cluttering my room up with cases.
The holder is quite a fetching grey and purple colour, as in the picture, I am unsure if they come in different colours however. the holder can house 12 discs. My one and only criticism would be that the capacity could be a little larger. The holder was designed for the Gamecube, but can be used for any games console really. My discs are now easily accessible and the sleeves they are held in allows me to see all the games very easily without rummaging around for a particular game. The holder has a simple zip around 3 sides, and is sturdy and protects the discs very well. The handle on the top allows for easy carrying of all your discs and I would recommend this particular holder over a basic cd case because the holder is very well made.
