Sony Handycam DCR-SR72E ... is an absolutely brilliant camcorder. I bought it 2 years ago and use it all the time. I ve only just used up all the memory and I really do use it a lot. It s light weight and easy to hold without it feeling awkward. It s really easy to use - even if you re like me and hate instructions!! The touch screen is brilliant and means you can get to want to want quickly without scrolling through using buttons. You can change how you shoot the video depending on what TV size you have so it looks really good if you re playing it straight onto the TV. Hitachi DZ-BX35E ... am not particularly good with techie things, but I found my camcorder pretty easy to use straight away. Have been using this for a couple of years now and have yet to try and load any of my dvds onto the computer (they are small ones!) but its on my list of things to do. Its easy to play the disks back on the TV though and all the cables required are already in the box. The battery life is good although as this is the first camcorder I have owned I have nothing to compare this with. It is really easy to use with no fussy setting up required, just one button record and off you go. The screen is really clear and you can turn it all the way round so that you can do so... Sony Handycam HDR-HC9 ... one of these HD cameras for my university assignment. I borrowed it from the Media Department in the library because there was no way i could afford to buy one. You can film in HD or DV as to adjust the quality and memory usage, its Full HD as well, which means you benefit from the best quality picture that can be produced. The 6.1 megapixel camera built in is no slouch as well - it takes quick pictures that are up to scratch (almost) with my 6mp dslr so it makes for a good camera and video camera combined (Wathc out for thieves though) Aesthetically its pleasing to the eye, black sleek design thats comfortable to hold, however I have fairly small hands for a man ...
