But, I do want to tell the world about a certain little camera which I have...

sacwhh22 Sony Handycam DCR-TRV14
... purchased this Sony model around 5 years ago for about £200 i think? My main reason for purchase was for Paranormal Research, and as such wanted a model that had decent reviews for its nightvision capability, and this fit the bill on that count! Prior to this i had not owned a camcorder and knew nothing about using them really, but found this surprisingly easy to pick up and learn with. The instruction manual was huge as they always are to cover every single function they can do, however to just do the basic recording and playback it doesnt take a rocket scientist to suss that out! Its a very nice size and weight and sits very comfortably in the hand even when using...

Amani88 Samsung VP-DC171W
... both dual-layer DVDs and RW discs, you can record directly to disk thus reducing the risk of data loss, there will be lots of storage space and it is convenient; just slip the DVD into your computer or DVD to watch It has a powerful 34x optical zoom so you can focus on distant objects and still maintain its high quality. Remember that digital zoom will reduce the quality of your shot so if you know you will film distant objects high optical zoom is the way to go. It is compact, light and portable. It is 800,000 pixels providing a very good image. Excellent with well lit areas but not great image quality in poorly lit areas. Unfortunately battery life is short ...

mickwolf Panasonic SDR-H40
... SDR-H40- DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE ! I bought one of these cameras to take on a family holiday. After reading various online reviews, i purchased one and wished i hadn t wasted my time and money.I wanted a more modern camcorder than my trusty Sony DCR-TRV-14 mini dv,which was looking a bit old. First impressions of the SDR-H40 were favourable, with it being light and easy to manage,as well as being easy to operate, even for a beginner to video photography. After 3 days of my holiday in Egypt,i discovered that this camera wasn t as good as my old Sony. The lack of a viewfinder was a problem while filming in bright sunlight, and the lcd screen stopped worki...
