... is a lovely little camera. its lightweight so easy to carry and hold up while recording for long periods of time. the LCD screen can rotate so the camera can be held high up and the screen tilted down so it can still be seen. the night mode feature is fantastic as it lets you capture what is going on even in dark conditions. it as a anti shake feature so if you haven t got a steady arm it wont stop you recording... Sony Handycam DCR-HC35 ... a little baby on the way, we had to get a video camera (my husband told me!). I have to say I thought it d just be his toy and a waste of money but we have had so much fun learning how to use it and the baby won t even arrive for 2 months. I love the fact that this camera is so easy to use, you can record for ages and then edit it down. This is really useful if you have a rabbit who sits completely still as soon as you put a camera on him but then all of a sudden will do something amazing (relatively speaking - he is a rabbit after all!) Panasonic NV-DS38 ... old video camera before it was stolen by pikeys. This machine excelled at everything. Picture quality is loads better than my new Sony. Also the IR night vision works better too. Had this for about 4 years with no problems at all. Battery life with the supplied battery is about 30 mins. Larger capacity batteries are availabe that ll give about an hour. Good old fashioned forward and reverse buttons or playback. In fact all the switches and buttons seem very sturdy and well made. There are loads of fun settings in the menu..my kids loved the mirror setting which doubles the image up and makes people look as though they some sort of monster. Motion sensor was goo... Sony Handycam DCR-HC51E ... was in the market for a replacement video camera after some pikey smashed a window in my car to get my old one. I needed one with IR night vision like my old Panasonic had, as we had recently seen a ghost in an old cottage whilst using night vision! (yes i did have on tape but it was in the stolen camera) Now I would have had a Panasonic again because Which have always rated them higher than other makes of video camera they review..mainly for image quality but Panasonic no longer do a camera with proper full IR night vision..so I decided to go Sony.
