Sony Handycam DCR DVD110 ... product is brilliant. Easy to use, admittedly again right hand preferred but very versatile. I have tended to use the LCD screen to get the best filming shots and pan in and out. LCD screen has touch controls as well as manual ones on the body of the camera. Takes Mini DV disks - they record for 30 mins - double sided ones are better. Screen tells you how long you have left for filming which is useful. Formats disk ready for PC transfer also dependig on set up mode will allows editing from LCD screen dependent on number of frames shot. Leads for connecting to TV and PC. Sony Handycam DCR-DVD110E ... bought mine online just right before Christmas, I got it 2 days earlier than they said I would. I took it out of the box and turned it on and just started recording. Its very lightwieght, the zoom is GREAT...The picture taking isn t all that wonderfull though, you have to be in a VERY WELL LIT ROOM. A few days before you get the product you will have to go and get a 2G or 4G Memory PRO DUO. Also you will need to buy 3 inch Mini-DVD....You can record either on the Stick or the CD, I use the STICK for the Picture taking though . AND REALLY PAY ATTENTION TO THIS PART : You DO NOT have to get SONY DISC for your camcorder...ANY of them work JUST FINE...and the OTHERS are CHE... Sony Handycam DCR-DVD403 ... s got a new toy for christmas. ~Introduction~ When my step-dad opened his Christmas presents last year, he was very surprised when he un-wrapped a Sony handycam. He has a very loving and generous wife, namely my mother. He previously had this prehistoric camcorder from the eighties and was about the size of a Hi Fi! He couldn t really carry it on his shoulder because he d probably end up in hospital with a broken shoulder! Bless him; he doesn t understand all that modern technology.
