Canon HG21 ... Canon HG21 is a high-class, high-definition camcorder. A number of top-end features make it one of the most flexible consumer camcorders going in the market. It does n number of things and most of them without an error. Some times it makes you wonder can it make a mistake? It is so very flexible that it open to the risk of potential outlay on accessories. Its huge hard drive feels as it never going to exhaust. CONTROLS The HG21 gives enough space to bend your fingers in the ridge on the right hand side. The controls are so intelligently placed, the mode dial and the record button are under the right thumb with the stills capture button and the zoom rocker buttons ... Panasonic SDR-H20 ... bought one of these as our first ever camcorder and overall i m very happy with it. It cost about £200 new at the time and although it s not "top of the range" by any means, it s still a good little piece of kit. It has a 32x optical zoom which isn t bad for it s size and also has a built in Optical Image Stabilizer which reduces camera shake. This comes in particularly handy when you re zooming in, and also helps with fast moving subjects when you re trying to keep up with the action. The battery life is quite good and seems to last at least 4 hours at a time, might even be a bit more, and also recharges really quickly. The controls are basic and straightf...
