... would say that to anyone who will record anything they see, this is THE camcorder. Good design, Great Features and EXTREMELY portable. The only bummer is that it only records in MOD format and doesn t come with a converter for mac (though I do think it has one for windows), So if you have a mac but you re not that good at computer stuff this isn t the camera for you. Sony Handycam HDR-SR10E ... typical Sony style, as soon as you open up the box, this camcorder looks great! Small, sleek and stylish you instantly know that you won t be looking out of place with this beauty. It s small size does take a little getting used to, and finding the best grip is very important so that you can reach the necessary buttons with your thumb and fore-finger. Once the grip is sorted, everything you need is in easy reach - the on/off (and quick-on - kind of like a sleep mode) and the all important record button is at the tip of where your thumb rests. The zoom is on top of the unit and is very easily accessed with the fore-finger, and so also is the button for taking photo s. ... Sony Handycam DCR-SR50E ... so i decided to buy this camera, after my disapointment with another I recently returned. So, after charging it, i put the camera through some tests, to ensure I was happy with it, otherwise it was on its way back to the shop. The Zoom is only 12x Optical and 800x Digital, but this is more than enough for everyday filming (unless you do a lot of long distance recording of course) The LCD screen is big enough at 2.7", and it is touch screen, which is a nice techy feature, as this reduces the buttons on the side of the camera. The weight and size is fantastic. Its tiny, and fits in your hand well. It feels so light that it feels like a toy, but it doesn t feel ch... JVC Everio GZ-MG365HEX ... Good points: Very small and light Great quality recording Good sound (Dolby) EXCELLENT Zoom on it (the optical is amazing 32x) The Bad points... Don t attempt to use it indoors or in poor light, its rubbish There is no Night vision on it, so it can t be used in the dark As i do a lot of Night time video-ing (that sounds dodgy), it was essential to have night vision. It simply can not handle poor light, which includes being indoors with no lights on. I received the item at 1pm, and it was back at the post office by 5pm the same day. Conclusion: If you don t need it AT ALL for night time / poor light condition, then its great. I suggest testing these camera s in a ...
