With Canon's true wide high resolution 16:9 recording system, the DC301 records stunning panoramic movies, ideal for playback on widescreen TVs. Perfectly compose and preview your movie on the 2.7” 16:9 LCD screen. Or use the wide 0.35'' EVF (Electronic Viewfinder) to conserve battery power.

Originally developed for the demands of high definition recording, DIGIC DV II offers faster processing speeds and advanced noise reduction technology. I must admit when I first got this camcorder I didn't know where anything was or how to use it properly and took me a few days to get up to scratch. This camcorder is able to record DVD-R discs and can also rewrite DVD's too meaning you can record over old videos you may have on old discs as long as the discs themselves are RW (re-writeable) too. The camera has a 41 times zoom which means you can zoom in on objects further. I have used this function to zoom in and use photo mode to take pictures without the need of a digital camera. This camcorder also comes with an AV output which enables you to put the video you are seeing on your camcorder onto a TV screen live. For ...
