Canon MD150 ... movies even when standing on the sidelines: at a family football match for instance. Get even closer with an incredible 1000x digital zoom. Canon's advanced Electronic Image Stabilizer (EIS) reduces camera shake even when shooting at the maximum of the zoom.
Benefiting from a high quality Megapixel CCD, the MD150 frees you to record stunning, panoramic widescreen movies, capturing true 16: 9 images: record high resolution widescreen movies and enjoy them on a widescreen TV.
Canon camcorders are optimized for widescreen shooting. Review your movies on the 16: 9 color LCD screen or conserve battery power by using the widescreen 0.35" color Electronic Viewfinder (EVF).
Quick Start gives you the advantage. From Standby mode, begin recording almost immediately at the push of a button. Never miss the moment again.
Designed for elegant and easy control, a Joystick on the LCD's frame puts you in complete command. To get started straight away, the camcorder's Easy shooting button lets you pick up and shoot with no fuss. Put yourself in your own movie and control the camcorder from in front of the lens using the wireless remote.
At a comfortable 380g, the lightweight and compact design makes the camcorder easy to carry with you.
Canon's DIGIC DV image processor is designed to make your video and photos come to life in vivid color. Split path processing handles video and still signals separately, delivering uncompromised quality no matter what you shoot.
A dedicated White LED Video Light lets you keep on recording in full color, even as the sun goes down.
The MD150 is compatible with SDHC (High Capacity) and standard SD memory cards. Capture more photos to memory card and even store low-resolution video clips that are perfect for the Internet or sending via email.

Love love love this camera! I'm not a techincal buff but i would recommend it to anyone! I got it as a birthday gift and it's never lft on the shelf when i go out. It is small enough to pop in your bag and extremely easy to use! From the moment it's turned on recording video is really as simple as pressing the red button. The display is really clear as well and it twists round 270degrees which makes recording at most angles very easy - including to the front of the camera to e-bloggers etc. The pictures the camera takes are good enough for it being a secondary feature but I have a digital camera also so tend to favour it for still photos! There are a few ...

The standard filming time is 3 hours. 2) Transferring video and photos to a PC is incredibly simple, you just stick the SD card into your PC card reader (I haven't seen a PC sold without a built in reader for years) and drag the files over to your PC. 3) The video camera is small and light, not much bigger than a digital camera. So it can fit into your bag without it being a pain to carry around. It's also pretty good looking which is a nice bonus and really well ...
