The Canon MV200 is a budget DV camcorder that offers excellent picture quality, flexibility and value. I've chosen it because I can plug it straight into my i-mac through a firewire port and record and edit movies in minutes. This camera has a wide range of editing functions built-in, stabilising for close-ups so that your hand-judders are digitally reduced, and can zoom onto insects at 500 yards! Really, I was so impressed at the ability to zoom across the Tempo store I was in and see price tags on distant steam irons that I had to have one. And I don't regret it. Although I've seen them coming rapidly down in price since I bought mine at £600. ...
