Canon MV930 ... the compact MV930 is a true 16:9 widescreen camcorder for capturing high resolution video, with additional photo capture to SD card, 25x zoom and DIGIC DV for vibrant colors.

Geared for true 16:9 recording, the MV930 captures video that is ideally suited for playback on the very latest widescreen TVs. During recording, footage is monitored exactly as it will appear on the TV, either on the camcorder's 2.7" 16:9 LCD screen or via the color viewfinder. Using the LCD's level marker, it's easy to keep the subject lined up. Additional 4:3 shooting is available at the push of a button.

... secure. The fact that my hand shakes like Ive seen a ghost, and an ugly ghost at that, doesn't help but I cant blame the strap. At the rear is the battery that clips tightly to the camera and on the left is a flip out screen to look at whilst recording or to review. The screen is 2.7 inches across and is made up of 123,00 pixels. I should know - Ive counted them all. I often look at myself in the the mirror and think that today, I am going to do great things. Often this involves shooting a major Hollywood blockbuster complete with dazzling special effects. Strangely this has never happened as I quickly realise that I have to get to work and anyway, I've only this cruddy camcorder. My favourite subject is the nude female form. However, as my wife has now threatened me with the European Court of Human Rights I am going to have to broaden my work.
