Canon MVX1 ... expands Canon's successful MV digital camcorder line-up. With its new design concept, the MVX1 is extremely easy to handle and comfortable to use. The unique tilting viewfinder and new rotating grip belt provide this camcorder with outstanding shooting flexibility while the compact size and curvaceous shape further enhance the comfort and ease of operation for the user.

The MVX1 provides users with digital line-in functionality allowing users to upload edited footage or graphics from their computer, or other digital devices, to the camcorder. As the signal is digital, the images can be transferred without loss of image quality. This feature also provides the possibility to incorporate analog video data into new digital recordings. Users can record images from a previously recorded 8mm/VHS tape, onto their new long-lasting DV tapes, thus enabling them to save, edit and preserve important and valuable video footage.
