The battery life was slightly disappointing and my main grumble would be that I cannot use rechargeable batteries as can with a digital camera. Canon MV 930 ... button again to stop and job done. On the top of the camera is a little sliding switch that controls the optical 25x zoom. This operates smoothly and quietly. There are two modes - easy and hard. Ive never used hard because it sounded too hard. it probably isnt - Im just a divvy. Easy does me fine. There are a number of shooting modes, namely Spotlight, portrait mode, night mode, fireworks, sports mode, sunset, beach and snow but Ive never bothered. And never will. There are also a good few special effect and fades but again they are not necessary for sneaky shower shots. Canon MV X450 ... a handy video camera that might not be ultra durable but apart from that offers a lot for not a lot. The wide screen option is handy, taking stills albeitat a lower resolution at the same time as filming video is a brilliant enhancement not found on many video cameras either. Canon DC 10 ... I know very little. Anyway I saw this camera on the web and bought it because of its minute size, well as far as camcorders go any way, I mean, it only weighs 0.9pounds. Any way, about the camera, the Canon DC10 is a MiniDV-based camcorder. It seemed to be fairly expensive compared to other such mini-dv compact cameras, and I took that to be a good sign that it would be riddled with loads of features. Indeed it did prove good, with an impressive effective resolution of 1.2 megapixels, this camera produced quality shots of my many locations, and the fact that I could easily slip it into my pockets made it even better for the traveller on the go.
