Hitachi DZ-MV200 ... camera, you can simply insert the DVD disc into your DVD player to view your recording on screen. As your recording is based on DVD disc and not on tape or tape-based players, the quality of recordings is outstanding. DVD disc is a flexible and portable way of recording and lasts considerably longer than tape.

The massive benefit of the DVD Camera is its flexibility. You can use your camera to record at home, use it as a storage medium, or in the office connected to your PC. Disc Navigation enables you to instantly find what you are looking for, and the editing facility allows you to simply and easily edit your footage such as re-arranging recordings.

The camera features approximately 60 minutes recording in Fine Quality Mode (both sides, 704x480, 6Mbps CBR) and about 120 minutes recording in Standard Quality Mode.

things I can think of that I would change is that when you insert a new disk and need to format it, you have to be plugged into the mains - which is a pain if you are out and about. You can however format all your disks in advance (which is what I should do!) Also no carry bag included and quite hard to find one which was a suitable size and not an arm and a leg.
