I would say that to anyone who will record anything they see, this is THE camcorder. Good design, Great Features and EXTREMELY portable.

The only bummer is that it only records in MOD format and doesn't come with a converter for mac (though I do think it has one for windows), So if you have a mac but you're not that good at computer stuff this isn't the camera for you.

Other that that it is very reliable and easy to use though some of the features are Hard to find so I recommend reading the online instruction manual if you want to get in to the REALLY detailed stuff.

One other bummer is that you can't insert an external mic so don't go ahead and buy a boom pole ect.

In case you're looking for it, there is only a flip screen, no eye hole here so flipping the screen around to show your friends is only good for displaying a video you've already shot.

All and all this is a great camcorder and Digital Camera, great quality and Extremely easy to use!!

Summary: The best camera I've had, though this is only my second.
