JVC GR-DVL567 ... indoor light sources so that colors appear natural. Manual White Balance is useful when shooting under various types of lighting. Digital Image Stabilizer helps eliminate camera shake. Snapshot mode freezes an image, frames it with a white border (like a still photograph) or a drop-shadow, and even adds an accompanying camera shutter sound effect. Iris Lock function allows the iris to be locked so that after focusing on a close subject, even when the subject moves away, the image will not darken. Use it when shooting a moving subject, when zooming, when the subject changes its distance (thus its size in the LCD monitor or the viewfinder), or when you want to lock the brightness level.

When my Sony MiniDV camcorder suddenly gave up the ghost I needed a replacement quickly. Although I have a personal preference for Sony products, the price of this JVC MiniDV camcorder couldn t be ignored, so I bought it and have been using it quite happily for a few months now.
