JVC GR-DVL555The Super High-Band Processor intelligently calculates and restores the high-band components of the luminance signal that would be lost in conventional processing. This ensures extremely high horizontal resolution of 520 lines. In addition to high-quality motion video, the GR-DVL555 also features a built-in digital still camera to capture digital still pictures. It takes VGA (640 x 480 pixels) size digital stills and stores them on the provided MultiMediaCard. You can choose image quality between Fine and Standard depending on your needs. The removable MultiMediaCard lets you easily transfer image and sound data to and from a PC. Just remove the card and load it into the optional adapter or card reader - the stored data can be dragged and dropped on your PC just like any other file. And since the card slot is SD-ready, you can also use an SD Memory Card to store larger volumes of data. For easier and even more convenient data transfer capability, the USB terminal is provided for fast, Plug and Play data downloading from the SD Memory Card/MultiMediaCard to a compatible PC. Since the USB Mass Storage Class support is provided, just hook up the camera via cable and it will appear on your computer screen as a drive unit. The GR-DVL555 is provided with a DV terminal (i.LINK: IEEE 1394 compliant) for fast, lossless digital transfer to a computer, as well as for dubbing to another DV unit in native DV format. This handy analogue input terminal makes it easy to upgrade your old tapes to digital, or incorporate footage from analogue sources in your digital videos. In addition to the 10x optical zoom, this camera also features a powerful 300x digital zoom with spline interpolation to smooth contours that helps you pick out a face in the crowd. A digital image stabilizer, which helps to eliminate camera shake without affecting image quality, is handy when zooming in for a portrait. The GR-DVL555's 3.5" LCD monitor makes it easy to frame shots when shooting, and for reviewing footage after recording. A built-in Auto Light switches on automatically to illuminate scenes, allowing you to capture a natural range of colors even when the light is low. |

Rating:
This camcorder boasts Digital Camcorder , camera and an mp3 player combo! It is however very hard on most pockets as it is usually priced in excess of 400 pounds, though bidding for it on eBay tends to yield much lower pocket damage. However if you are really into photography or just want some pro and easy to handle equipment to take snapshots for special occasions yourself, then this is a prime product for you. For those of you who dont understand the megapixel mullarky, its just really high picture resolution (5 megapixels) that is crisp and graphically magnificent for every possible picture. You can take still pictures to mount on the wall and hook your camera right up ...

Rating:
but he would depart this earth with a smile on his face at where his accomplishment had led the human race to. And so to the JVC GR -DX25. It is not the cheapest of machines (£400), nor is it the most expensive. It doesn?t have the largest range of special features, nor the smallest. It may not be the best camcorder in the world, but it is a very, very long way from being the worst. The JVC GR-DX25 is a very good camcorder, with an impressive, yet not too bewildering range of special features, at a sensible and reasonable price. It pretends to be nothing more or less than that. CAMERA It is small. VERY small. In fact, when they said it was ?hand-held?, I ...

Rating:
very light and small also means that you'll be more likely to use it. Picture quality is well up with the pack, if nothing extra special, courtesy of its bog-standard 800 ,000 pixel CCD. Ingenious design means that practically every part of its outer surface has a function - just be careful where you stick your fingers, you might alter something!. There is an excellent large LCD colour screen. It?s easy to pick up and start using, whilst retaining plenty of semi-pro features to 'grow into'. Price - at £500 it's a bargain and £800 cheaper than its predecessor! It has a powerful optical (i.e. real) zoom lens for such a small camera. The DV-Out socket is very ...
