I bought this camcorder online in 1999. It cost me £600 and was priced at £900 in Dixons. The main features I was looking for at time were: 1. Brand reliability 2. Digital format 3. LCD screen The slightly bigger size did not bother me much. I have taken it abroad and so far have recorded over 20 mini Digital Video cassettes. Every time, I've got perfect results especially when there was adequate lighting. However, in darker areas the camera does loose some color differentiation and the recordings are a bit bland. Night view works fine, allowing black & white movies to be recorded in the dark. Although I have only used it a couple of times, it is more ...

I have recently bought the Panasonic GS30 camcorder. After a couple of months of use I have so say that I'm well pleased with it. The camcorder does all that is asked of it and plenty more. It has many more features than I could ever use, although still remains very simple to use. The camcorders size is one of the main reaons I bought it in the first place and although it is very small the buttons all seem to be easy to use. Connecting the camcorder to a computer is very simple using a firewire connection and uploading and downloading video is no problem. One feature that I do like, is DV IN which allows me to copy the edited video from my PC back onto the ...

It has many more features than I could ever use, although still remains very simple to use. So get your latest Panasonic toy and set your digital zoom to 500x and see how far away you can really be from something....The Papparazzi will love this !!!!!!!!
