Panasonic NV-DS1 ... mini cassettes which transfer easily onto standard VHS tapes. The quality of the video footage is absolutely excellent - so good that it could be used on the TV! One of the best bits about our camera is that it has special effects, strobe, negative, black and white, sepia, solar, tracing, fade in & out etc. Which makes it even more fun. Loading the pics onto your PC again is really easy, the Panasonic DV studio software is really user friendly, after installing it, you just follow the instructions to attach your camera to the PC, select your frame (the film must be paused) and click on ACQUIRE - it's that easy! Panasonic NV-DA1 ... have recently purchased a Mini DV camcorder model number NV. On the whole I am very pleased with the picture quality and ease of use. One major downside was the lack of a scart converter with the camcorder, something that Sony provide with all camcorders. This was difficult to find at an electrical retailer and without it you are unable to payback on most moder TV's. When I contacted Panasonic they were extremely uninterested in my comments. Panasonic PV-DV400 ... am very happy with this digital camcorder.I was looking for a small, light-weight recorder that was easy to use and this is exactly that.The picture and sound quality are excellent. the 3-way PC LINK is easy to connect and an excellent features that I ever seen. The 3" LCD is very clear and and reduce strain on eye. The 18x optical/300x digital zoom allows you to use seven zoom speeds to zoom in for close-ups or zoom out for wide-angle shots.The battery charges quickly-less than an hour.
