Panasonic DVD e.cam VDR-D50EG-S ... bought this camcorder about 4 months ago, as we had a little girl back in december and didnt want to regret not recording her to watch back when she is older. first off, its a fantastic size - it even fits in our old digital camera case - It looks nice and sleek and fits in your hand nicely. Its very easy to use, as I find all panasonic products are. The picture is good quality once you get the hang of it, we watched a DVD we made of our daughter and it starts off dark but by the end it was a lot better as we had gotten used to it. Panasonic HDC-SD5EG-K ... have owned this camera for just over a month now, and despite having some issues with the memory card to start it now works fine and I am very pleased with it. Firstly if you are a mac user, this camera works great with iMovie, and so I hear Final Cut, too. Many camcorders are PC only, so if you have a mac and are shopping around be careful. With the HDC-SD5EG-K its as easy as opening iMovie and clicking import from camera The camera itself is easy to use, the wide LCD display is clear for shooting, and the menu functions appear here too. The only thing I would say is that the joystick used to navigate is a little bit fiddly, but that could just be because I have la...
