Premium Review Great image quality but....... (283 words)

Rating:

quality of your shot so if you know you will film distant objects high optical zoom is the way to go. It is compact, light and portable. It is 800 ,000 pixels providing a very good image. Excellent with well lit areas but not great image quality in poorly lit areas. Unfortunately battery life is short so carry a charger and some spare batteries. 8 different shutter speeds and image stabilisation are fantastic when filming fast moving objects, also when moving the camera while filming the images will not be blurred. There are nine digital effects: Negative, Art, Black & White, Sepia to name a few. You can use the effects in your recording process or add them later. ...

Premium Review Cheap and cheerful (339 words)

Rating:

We have all heard those hackneyed phrases You Get What You Pay For and Caveat Emptor (let the buyer beware), I think. Sometimes, despite a rather jaunidiced advertising slant on this most cynical of phrases, we find an exception to the general rule. This actual contraption is well worth a look, especially if you buy it knowing that it is almost certainly the cheapest gadget on the market at this point in time, with all the concomitant meaning attached to that phrase. Many of these devices feature a separate menu type button, and this is no exception, although a bit unwieldy to figure out at first. Aren't they all?? Nonetheless most of the basic features that you want are there ...
