I have had this camcorder for around 18 months and have had no problems with it until now. It appears that the ribbon cable which connects the LCD screen to the camera has developed a break due to the screen having to be folded in and out during normal use, this has rendered the camera un- usable. When you analyze just how long the camera is out of the bag being used i.e. in my case about 2 hrs in 2 to 3min bursts. I could not recomend this product to anyone as it is not of good quality. I know it can be fixed but why would I? The cable, due to the design will most likely break again.
